Adam Greenman

May 2009

“My name is Adam Greenman. I just graduated from Karval Online Education. If you are looking to go to college I would recommend this program because it will prepare anyone for college.  The reason I am saying this is because when you are in college your parents cannot get you up everyday, tell you to go to class, and tell you to do your homework. This program will help you be responsible and more focused. People say that it is a joke but it is still like public school because you still have homework, grades, and deadlines

Karval Online Education will also give you time to think what you would like to become in the future. Sure in public school you can too, but with the online program I thought about it a lot harder because I was a senior just wanting to become a mechanic and nothing else. I started thinking to myself what if the economy does crash then what? Then I started looking into the Army Reserves. My recruiter and my sergeants did not think there was a thing like that where you can actually get a High School Diploma. My recruiter is starting to look into the online program for his son as well. All I am saying is that if you want to go to college think about Karval Online Education because it will prepare you more for college and will start making you think what you would like to do in the future.”

Adelia Marie Smith

My name is Adelia Marie Smith, I am fourteen years old and in the eighth grade. I have been a student with Karval Online Education for the past five years. This program has allowed me to advance my knowledge and not be held back from doing so. It gives me the freedom to acknowledge who I am without classroom disruptions.

Karval Online Education has been a great alternative way to receive my education. I have the opportunity to work one on one with my teacher, while not being nervous about asking questions. My teachers help explain things to me to where I can understand better. It also has allowed me to understand my lessons and what I need to know, to become a successful adult.

My typical day is scheduled to do five to seven assignments a day four days a week. The fifth day is usually doing something in the kitchen, whether it is a science experiment, cooking, short field trips or the library to do research. Mondays I take violin lessons in an after school program at my local public school. Wednesday I play all girls softball for our local Recreation Center. As well as, play soccer for EPYSA (Eastern Plains Youth Soccer Association) on Saturdays. In addition, I am part of a Bowling League on Sunday afternoons in the late winter and early spring season. Occasionally, I volunteer to help the Senior Citizens in my community, while holding a position as president and volunteer for the YBCA (Youth of the Byers Community Association). Which organizes youth dances through out the year, Christmas activities and helping with the 4th of July festivities.

I recommend to others that are having a difficult time in traditional schools, to try Karval Online Education. It is not for everyone, but it is something that has worked for me and I have been very successful with.
If anyone would like to ask me questions about my experience I would be delighted to speak with them This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

David and Sheri Logan Family

April 16, 2007

After 5 years with another "online school", our family transferred to Karval On-Line Education.

We wish we had done it a long time ago!!!

This has been a very successful and happy school year for our family.  The computer programs and curriculum are not complicated, yet they are effective.  It took us about 15 minutes to figure out how to navigate the whole curriculum as compared to up to 6 months at our previous school.  It is very easy to understand and operate.

Our family had much less stress and a lot more confidence when it came to school.  We were not weighed down by the work load.

The staff is very friendly and easy to work with and always available when we need them!!!

Online Education gives our family time together and flexibility of schedule to do things as a family.

Dear Sharla and Staff:

We were not sure what to expect two years ago when we signed up our son, Christopher Andersen, with Karval On-line Education for his junior year in high school.  We had been told by his counselor at our local “brick and mortar” high school that due to my son’s special education needs, which I believe are minimal, he would be graduating three years after his peer group; the primary reason being that Chris was only able to handle two academic classes per semester.  Chris’ special education coordinator at our local high school recommended Karval to us after I had heard a radio advertisement for an on-line school in Southern Colorado and asked her opinion of this type of education.  She approved whole-heartedly of the on-line alternative.

Karval’s program allowed Chris to successfully take 6-8 academic classes per semester (earning As and Bs) and work a part-time job at a local grocery store.  The on-line classes let Chris do school work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, without being required to change subjects (and thought processes) every 50 minutes.  His job provided work study credit and socialization and walking to work gave him physical education credits (not to mention helping keep him physically active).  The weekly phone calls from his teacher as well as the email and Instant Message contacts helped bolster Chris’ positive mind-set toward achieving the goals we had all discussed together at the beginning of each year (and reinforced that this type of schooling was “do-able”).

We have been absolutely impressed with the professionalism and quality not only of his education but of the staff at Karval.  We are especially grateful to Chris’ teacher, Cheryl Thompson, for making the last two years an incredible success for him.  With the constant support he received from Ms. Thompson and the other staff members Chris has completed his required high school graduation requirements two months early instead of three years late!  This would never have been accomplished at his local high school.

We cannot say enough about how grateful we are that Karval has provided this opportunity for Chris to earn his high school diploma and graduate on time.  This has done wonders for his self-esteem and aided in his transition toward adulthood and independence with solid skills for the “real” world.  Thank you, thank you for all you have done.  We wish the Karval On-line program much continued success in the future.

Sincerely,

Jeff and Lily Chambers

Jason Eager

"My name is Jason Eager.  I graduated from Karval Online Education.  I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to still go to a public school and work from home.  The school loans you a computer and printer.  They will even pay for internet access.  What I enjoyed the most is that I could study at my own pace, choose my classes and know right from the start what was expected of me to complete the courses.  I didn't have the hustle and bustle of having to switch classes with a different teacher for each class.  I really like that your teacher is just a click or email away and they will call you every week.  My parents were really involved with my education which motivated me to succeed.  So if your looking for a school that will fit your needs and allows more time to spend with your family, check out Karval Online Education."

"My experience with Karval Online Education has been rather challenging and exciting!  Up until my sophomore year I attended public school.  I then made the huge transition to taking classes online.  I immediately fell in love with the curriculum and the fact that I could make my own schedule.  Staying motivated to do school each day was a breeze!  In my first year of being involved with KOLE, I worked nonstop; most of the time until two or three in the morning!  Deciding to switch from public school to online was quite a change for me, but I adapted quickly!  I do not regret leaving public school.

I have been content with the staff and the chance to accelerate my education with KOLE!  Karval Online has offered to give me the opportunity to attend college full time for my senior year!  They are even paying for 24 credits hours!

To those of you who are looking to get out of the public school, or to advance your education, KOLE is the right place.  There isn't any reason that you should be hesitant in considering KOLE.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this program!  I promise you that if you join KOLE, you won't be disappointed in the least.  If you have searched and searched for something different you have found your destination!

Getting an education has never been and will never be the same again.  I have been pleased with this program and highly reocmmend it!  Your chance for success awaits your decision!  Sign up today!"

"Wow!  What a great school Karval Online has been for me.  Karval Online has given me new opportunities, a broader education, and easier ways of learning.  By being enrolled in KOLE, I was able to take classes that are not offered at the school I was previously attending.  These classes consisted of Business and Consumer Math, Personal Economics and Finance, and Oceangraphy.  The curriculum in these classes taught basic every day life skills.  KOLE allowed me to work at my own pace.  With the freedom to work at my own pace I am able to attend college for my senior year.  This is a wonderful opportunity for me, because not only do I get high school credits, but I also receive full college credit.  This program gave me the flexability to fit in other activities without being overwhelmed.  I was able to work any time of the day.  I made the transition to KOLE in 2003 from the school I was attending.  It has been the best thing my family and I could have done.  I have been given new opportunities and gained a great deal of knowledge enrolled in Karval Online Education. "Hi, I am Kristina Steinert and this is my son Rio.  Up until my junior year of high school, I was in public school.  It just was not working for me.  There were too many distractions.  That is when I chose to stay home and do my work online.  I was very excited to be able to set my own pace.  My son Rio Tyson Steinert was born on April 29, 2005.  That was challenging enough, but with KOLE, I was able to sleep when he slept and do my school work when he was awake.  Most nights that was two or three in the morning.  It was nice to be able to continue my education and still be home to care for my son.  To me KOLE is giving me the chance to finish high school.  Without KOLE, I would have to settle for a GED, or worse, just dropped out.  Now I know I will have a future for me and for my son.  Now I have plans to attend college after graduation this year.  The teachers and staff were there to help support me.  When I was struggling with my last two classes, my teacher was there to encourage me and was always willing to help me when I needed it.  To me it was the best choice I could have made.  Thanks KOLE for being there."
